Samsung announced the latest smartwatch today, Gear S3. As Gear S2, this is a Tizen-powered smartwatch with a stainless steel case and rotating bezel.
Samsung include everything that can go into smartwatch this year. With 1.3-inch screen of 360 × 360 display, optional LTE version, the addition of MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology for Samsung Pay, a speaker and a microphone for calls, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, accelerometer, gyroscope, heart-rate sensor,and barometer. Bigger is not always better in smartwatch world , Samsung Gear S3 looks like a giant with case has grown from 44mm to 46mm when compared with Apple Watch, which come in 38mm and 42mm sizes.
Samsung has not announced the release date of Samsung Gear S3, although Samsung said that the watches will be available through Verizon, AT & T and T-Mobile at carrier-determined prices. Samsung Gear S3 will go on sale later this year.
