Tornado Hits Kokomo, Indiana

On Wednesday, Ohio and Indiana were attacked by multiple storms that destroyed many buildings and forced the entire towns to shut down. A state of emergency was announced in Howard County, Indiana, after a huge destructive tornado hit Kokomo on Wednesday afternoon. The storm flattening a Starbucks and damage many homes and businesses. The National Weather Service has announced that the storm resulted in damage to EF3 in Kokomo. According to the National Weather Service, "kokomo tornado that struck around 3:24 pm, moving to the east at a speed of 30 mph." During tornado, a tornado emergency was declared for the twister that was described as "large and extremely dangerous" by the NWS. Authorities have shut all the way up to 9.00 pm. Only emergency crews that are allowed to enter the area.

Tornado knocked down many trees and power lines, making cities in the state without electricity. According to Duke Energy, "approximately there is 29,000 electricity customers without power since Wednesday night". Indianapolis Power and Light Company also confirms that there are approximately 11,000 electricity customers around Indianapolis were also without power.
