Steven Hill, our beloved District Atorney Adam Schiff in "Law & Order" has died at the age of 94 years. Hill died in Monsey, Newyork, according to The New York Times. His Son, Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Hill also confirmed it to CNN.
Steven Hill was born with the name of Solomon Krakowsky in Seattle on May 18, 1989. He is the son of a furniture-store owner. Hill graduated from the University of Washington and moved to Chicago to work in a radio. He then moved to New York and did frequent stage work in the early years of his move. He making his Broadway debut with a small role in “A Flag Is Born” (1946). He worked in the early years of television (1949) and made his debut in television with "a lady without passport" (1950's).
Hill was married twice. His first wife was Selma Stern (1951 to 1964) and had four children from her. His second wife was Rachel and had another five children with Rachel, whom he married in 1967.
